Ukulele cover of “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue” composed by Ray Henderson in 1925. This 1948 Harmony Roy Smeck model soprano ukulele I am playing belonged to my Great Aunt Gertrude. During the pandemic, I got this uke back into playable shape. Now it sings. Roy Smeck did a version of “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue” in 1963 and I’m sure my aunt played that song on this ukulele as well. I thought it would be a good one for Play Music On The Porch Day.
