Welcome to my channel! In this video, I have a grooving ukulele play-along for “Proud Mary” originally written and produced by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969, but my version is a derived ukulele arrangement and cover of the version by Ike & Tina Turner, 1971. Perfect for new ukulele players and seasoned ukulele enthusiasts, this play-along features on-screen chords and lyrics to make learning and playing along easy and enjoyable. For the intro of the song, I am using a simple [ 1-2-(34)-2 ] fingerpicking pattern per chord. Then I transition into a chucking strum to accentuate the backbeat with a “down, up, chuck, up” strum. Have fun interpreting this song in your own way!
